| While Reiki-ssage is
specifically considered "not massage therapy", it is
accepted by many massage therapy professional organizations as a
continuing education option. Participation in any of the Reiki-ssage,
Reiki-Reflex, or Reiki-ssage Mastery workshops
will provide 16 contact hours each for massage
therapists.
The Energy Healing Basics workshop will
provide 3 Contact Hours.
The CPR and First Aid Certification
Program will provide 8 Contact Hours each.
The Practice Management Workshop will
provide 8 Contact Hours.
The Reiki Council is preparing
the necessary applications to gain approval as a continuing
education provider through the State of Florida and through the
National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and
Bodywork. We anticipate this status in Spring 2005. |
